Sigma DP1 Merrill Compact Digital Camera

Sigma Corporation of America has rolled out the Sigma DP1 Merrill compact digital camera. Priced at $999, the compact digicam features the same Foveon X3 46-megapixel Direct Image sensor, which is found on the Sigma SD1 DSLR camera. The camera is equipped with a fixed 19mm F2.8 lens which is the equivalent to a 28mm lens on a 35mm SLR camera, a dual, three-layer responsive ultimate (TRUE II)
